The socks are wonderful--such beautiful wool... and the quilt piecing is lovely--great blocking patter. :o) We're just back from 2-week visit with family & friends in the US. Glad to stop by and catch up with you! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
You mean you haven't started my socks yet...?? If the giant meccano set is what I think it is I would stick to quilting and socks and make lots of cups of coffee and give lots of encouragement to other people to make it- I had lots of bits of metal left over from building mine and I'm just glad that MrP does what he does for a living so he was able to adapt other bits of metal to do what they were supposed to... They are lovely when they are done though- just think of all those home grown toms - yum!
I know I shouldn't but I feel quite envious that those aren't my socks, they are gorgeous.xx
I love the pattern and colours of the socks. I'm assuming its a self patterning type of wool. Which brand is it?
I want these socks! They are wonderful.. I could do with them about now as it is still rainy and chilly over here. x
Beautiful socks, hope your sister-in-law likes them.I wish it would rain here as there are plenty of clouds and gloom, but no rain. Zoya
I'm sure she'll agree those socks were definitely worth the wait! And now even more intrigued by the Meccano project...K x
Lovely colours you've chosen for the socks. Lucky sister-in-law! x
Now THOSE are some socks. And no mistake.
Beautiful socks and you've got to admit the rain certainly helps projects zip along.
Just beautiful! All of it! love love love the socks - they look perfectly made! And the quilt - great idea for scraps. Hope half term with you is fun now the sun is out!
Oh. Swoon. I am in complete love and feel faint. Those socks. The colours. I can almost feel them on my feet. Think we need to do some family introductions so I can be your sister-in-law too....
It's a relief to find I'm not the only one who's always late for birthdays ;-)
your socks are great - I hope she liked them ? I'm planning on some socks for Christmas presents this year. Hasn't the weather been lovely the past few days?
Socks or quilt, socks or quilt - it's hard to say which I love more.
