so far my project 365 efforts have been more "take a photo on the odd random occasion" than take a photo everyday and improve your photography as a result.
so in search of something more attainable I've joined a scavenger hunt, first seen by me at postcards from the pp, and a few other places since.
these are the first of my finds....
next month I hope there is cake and chocolate and wine on the list......
a reflective surface - not a mirror
an abandoned building
something out of place
yarn
bubbles
Love the out of place pic LOL .. I've taken 4 so far , better get my finger out !!
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on the 'something out of place' .... yours made me laugh out loud!

What a photogenic lot of subjects you've found. I like your twist on 365. I haven't come across that. I will have to have a look.
ReplyDeleteYour cat in the sink picture made me chuckle out loud! The yarn as a pillow is pretty funny too. You could do the whole project based on cat photos - he's definitely the star of the show!!

I like the second photo "an abandoned building" - the place look so beautiful. "Something out of place" made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI gave up on 365 accidentally too, about three days in.
ReplyDeleteOOh lovely images. Your hairy friend in the sink made me smile.
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL photos, Tess! Especially LOVE the photo of your kitty in the sink--hilarious! Cats will sit anywhere... ;o) The seafoam photo sparkles. Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI love the light in your first photo. I keep meaning to improve my photography but I'm not good with jargon so am happy to just click away.

Interesting to take photos in this way, with a plan or title in mind. 'Something out of place' made me laugh too, and could be a hard one to find. You did well choosing the subjects and the photos are lovely. Helen x
ReplyDeletehi just found your blog...my cat sleeps in the sink too and doesn't even move if the tap drips!!! sometimes there is a little pool of water behind her back!
ReplyDeleteLove the cat in the sink. So sweet! xx
ReplyDeleteHope you weren't tempted to turn the tap on!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have recently discovered your blog... I had to come and have a look when I saw 'gluten free baking' in your 'about me'. My other half is wheat intolerant, but try as I might, I can't bake anything good with wheat free flour! We've just bought Phil Vickery's gluten free baking book and are hoping that will provide basic recipes that will be successful!
The cat photo is great, I am really struggling to get the something out of place picture for the scavenger hunt. I have onyl taken 6 photos I am happy with so far! I'm planning to post my attempts on Sunday so I need to crack on and get the others sorted!

Love the cat in the basin photo. Ahh, makes me want another cat again!
