Loving the bright autumn sunshine, the crisp frost on the grass and the blue skies


Planning what to do with the 7lbs of blackberries we picked over the weekend.  Well Mr Driftwood and I picked them, Miss K impatiently wanted to know when the crumble would be ready, and J carried around several large sticks.


listing things on folksy and etsy.

sketching thistles and cow parsley and alliums which I want to embroider onto linens for some new designs of cards.

wondering what's for dinner.

    Sounds like a lovely day! We had our Autumn sunshine boost yesterday on a day out in Avebury. Today it's dark skies and chilly again!

    Great makes, Tess. I especially love the row of little houses.

    It's blummin chilly here - I'm wrapped up in layer upon layer of jumpers and cardigans. I'm supposed to be baking cakes for a mum's get-to-gether, I'm just deciding on what to make.

    Well done for finding all those Blackberries - I think I'll take Violet on a forage for some this weekend. I love Blackberry & Apple Crumble.

    We had lovely Autumn sunshine today which was nice to glaze pots by - daylight being so much better than artificial light. Blackberries seem to be all over blogland at the moment - what will you do with yours? xCathy
