It is lovely, I really like the colour combinations that you chose, and the green for the border too! xx
Lovely and snuggly!
Beautiful calm colours X
Oh, it is so beautiful.I wish that I were able to do as well. I do love the greens and the other colors...the purple pinkish hues. What could be better for being cozy and warm with both color and the true warmth of a loving and lovely blanket? (do forgive me if i have misspelled and words are so not what they should be..still struggling with the eyes.) And such goodness that you have made this yourself. What is better than that?
What a gorgeous blanket with such lovely colours. It looks very cosy, excellent for snuggling under.Anne xx

That blanket is really, really lovely. But the best thing is how you know what you were doing when you started it. I like the way these long term projects tell a story as they accompany us through life. x
Oooo... this is LOVELY, Tess... LOVE the colors! A very happy, cosy blanket. I like the simplicity of the granny border, blending in with the rest of the blanket, and then that hint of "lace" with the scallop edge--delightful! There's just something so comforting and calming about working a a granny stitch anything, isn't there? Perfect blanket for now. It's been bucketing down with rain here for two weeks... I've got yarn for a blanket to make too. ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
It's gorgeous! And a memory keeper too. Happy snuggling x

Crochet squares do take a time to join all together but aren't the results worth it. Lovely colours.
Looking gorgeous Tess. I love blanket making gradually over time and like others have said all of the memories that get caught up with the stitches x
