oh March, how did you whizz past so fast? You were a blur of sequins, of wild winds, and grey days, of tiny hints of spring, and snuggling in blankets watching the rain lashing down and yet some days you were warm enough to lose a few layers and hands were warm enough in glove buddies (
pattern here on the lovely Hawthorn Spellweaver's blog.) March you were filled with cake, and cheesy scones, and rockbuns, and more cake, including a very special one. More to follow on that one.....
March most certainly passed us by in a hurry filled with garden planning, windswept walking, roaring fires and thick tasty stews...tis now the time for lighter nights and longer adventures.

yes March was definitely fire and stew weather.
DeleteMarch certainly whizzed by here too. I just about managed to plant up some hyacinths and what I call 'narcissistic' plants to give us a flavour of Spring. Now I'm looking forward to having a bonfire whilst it's still light! X
ReplyDeleteLove your glove buddies! Such a great idea. X
ReplyDeleteOoo... love the colors in these fingerless mitts!! Still needing such here. We had a BIG dump of snow last week...spring much come soon, right?! ;o) Thank you so much for your VERY kind comment at my place. Life is tough sometimes. Thankfully there are lots of good things to sooth the rough spots--like friends. :o) Wishing you & yours a LOVELY EASTER ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteIt is shocking how the time passes by so quickly isn't it!!! xx
ReplyDeleteHi there! Glove buddies looking good :) I am still wearing mine here, snow last night where I work and at home it lashed it down all weekend with vast quantities of rain.. the special cake story has piqued my interest! x
ReplyDeleteFreezing today! definitely glove buddy weather x cake photos to follow x
DeleteLovely mittens. Look forward to cake story, and pics.... X
ReplyDeleteThis year does seem to be whizzing by doesn't it? Love your glove buddies. x
ReplyDeletedon't blink, we'll both miss it x
DeleteVery pretty Ms. Tess. Sounds like a wonderful month of treats -- surely what we could have used during our cold, blustery month!
ReplyDeleteHope this works as I seem to have lost a comment earlier ... Lovely glove buddies, I'm inspired to make some to add to my winter clothing stash. And mmm ... cheese scones - definitely need to make some of those now!
ReplyDeletesomeone else said they lost a comment too. I don't know what's going on..... you should definitely make glove buddies and scones.
DeleteIndeed another month has whizzed by...........sounds like it has been a good one. Love your gloves :)
ReplyDeleteYep, March is a fast month here, too! I am looking forward to reading all about that extra special cake.
ReplyDeleteIt did go really fast didn't it. I can't honestly say I achieved anything in March. I have higher hopes for April! CJ xx

ReplyDeleteMarch was slow over here but I'm really glad to know yours whizzed by. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's now starting to cool down (slightly) and head towards winter here so I think I may have to try those glove buddies. Unfortunately it'll still be a couple of months before it gets cold enough to wear them but I'll make sure I have them ready :)

March rushed through here is well at lightening speed! It would be summer before we know it.
ReplyDeleteDid we see cheesy scones? I love them.

It was curiously speedy wasn't it? It's startling that April is about to happen. How can we be a quarter of the way through the year when Christmas was a couple of weeks ago? Is it because we're all getting OLD?
ReplyDeletePS ACE wristies x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely rushed by here too, and for a while it fooled me that maybe it was bringing Spring, hopefully April will follow through a little better.
ReplyDeleteMarch here veered from winterish to summerish and back again, and so far April is shaping up to do the same!
ReplyDeleteI have made a few pairs of similar wrist warmers, great for inbetween days when walking the dog. Cake sounds intriguing. Hmmmmm .... cake....!
ReplyDeletecake story will come soon x
Deleteand yes the wristies are perfect for inbetween days x
