five on friday

joining in with Amy's five on Friday first birthday celebrations.
Five photographs from our snowy weekend away. Not many words to go with them.

The sun peeping through the clouds at Loch Earn.

Standing stones, which were in field next to a farm. We exerted our right to roam and hopped over the fence.

A beautiful fence covered in snow.

And gorgeous soft green lichen. I love this colour.
(But if I try and wear anything this colour I look like the living dead. Not flattering.... )

The most beautiful sky.

I think I could photograph the sky every hour of every day and never get bored.

Happy Friday x

  1. Beautiful photographs - a real Friday afternoon treat. I particularly love the third one of the fence. No snow for us this year so I have had to enjoy it vicariously.

  2. I have missed the snow so much this year, it's just rain and mud which is far less photogenic! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous snow filled photos, especially the fence. Have a wonderful weekend xx

  5. Beautiful!! Hope you had a wonderful time away, even if it was very cold - which it looks to have been! I love the photo of the lichen, that sort of green is one of my favourite colours, but not to wear! Thank you so much for joining in the anniversary of Five On Friday, I really do appreciate it so much! Have a good weekend! xx

  16. These photos are just amazing!! The snow and dark skies really compliment each other. What a great little grouping of standing stones. Everything looks so chilled. The last shot is stunning, are those clouds in the background or hills? Beautiful :)

  20. Pretty places. I am enjoying the roaming vicariously today as it is much to grey and rainy for me to venture too far outdoors here.

  24. Super photos. I often think nature can give us some great ideas for colours but in this case I'm not sure many people could wear that colour of lichen!
