a new way to 5 a day

at this time of year we are all being bombarded with detoxing, and dieting, and fresh starts, and giving things up.
well I've given up lemons........

and turned to cucumber, tonic and Hendricks gin



that way you can eat the cucumber, and count it as part of your five a day!

what are your tips for a new healthy lifestyle?

  1. Very, very nice. I can't even begin to come up with a health tip to match that one. (Send one of those drinks over to the Coffee Lady -- sounds like she needs it.)

    (My word verif is "proveg." And it's true, I really AM pro-veg, being a vegetarian and all. I'm also a fan of vegging out. It's a winner all around!)

  4. :-) that is hilarious. I have no healthy lifestyle tips, as I seem to be totally unaware of any need to diet, detox, start afresh, etc... I still don't feel like it's a new year :-)

  7. I wish I liked a G & T - they always look so sophisticated. Gin gives me the shakes! Shame, I could do with some extra veg!

  10. Every morning I get up and make myself a drink of hot water with a slice of fresh lemon and a spoonful of honey.

    Seven times out of ten, I forget to drink it and end up guiltily throwing it away when it is cold.

    But it's the thought that counts, right?
