remembering to breathe

it has a Long week

and I am glad it's nearly over.

but in the midst of it all I found an hour or two to escape, and sit in the gardens and look at the tulips

and soak up the calmness that was all around, breathing in the beauty

and making a new friend.

Yesterday I needed a reminder to breathe, and I thought about these images locked away safe in my camera, and this morning I downloaded them, and the sense of calm reappeared, so I thought I would share them with you.

enjoy.

breathe.

have a good weekend x

  2. Lovely pictures...glad that looking back on them brought you back to a place where you 'remembered to breathe' I have always thought about making myself a book/album of photos, cards anything that I enjoyed, was special to me and took me back to a place of peace. I still think it's a good idea......

  3. Hullo there. Sorry I have neglected you this week but I have had a mad one too. I love your new friend. Especially as he is the kind who will just listen and not make any judgements... Like another silent amigo I happen to know!

  7. Hope all is okay there xoxoxo

I have been needing to remind myself all week long to stop holding my breath, as we pack and move my mum and deal with all of the emotional stuff that comes with that. Cannot wait to have, well, a breather, and to catch up with dear pen pals... xoxoxoxoxoxo

  9. I can sally identify with this at the moment and it's a good message to remember from time to time. It reminds me of one of my favourite poems; Leisure by W. H. Davies
'What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare...'
