a different route this time for walking, less sheep.
but I did catch sight of enormous blades for a wind turbine travelling northbound on the A1
and in the underpass there is poetry.
always look ahead of you whilst walking says the training guide, not down at your feet.
good advice here I'd say....
here too, there's a fantastic view to be seen.
sometimes though you have to look back, to get the best photo of the lion and his crazy tail!
Crazy tail indeed. Which castle is that? Ax
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely walk, good job you were looking ahead and not for 'poop' as we do x
ReplyDeleteVery crazy, is it made of iron? Beautiful scenery, even if it is eroding!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting to see what there is around us when you really look properly....I liked the poetry and the lion's tail especially! Loved all your adorable bunnies on your previous posts....well done on selling them all for such a good cause!

Wonderful castle! And yes, it is a strange lion's tail...definitely not in proportion. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the poem. Acceptable graffiti! What a lovely walk. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to find a poem in an underpass!
ReplyDeleteI'm just catching up with everyone Tess ... I do hope parting company with your new job wasn't painful x
Top tail! Your training is throwing up many interesting views - thanks for showing them to us. I'm not venturing outside - too cold!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views, and lovely graffiti discovery! I see you have undergone some recent changes too. Hope all is well with you,

Good graffiti. Great castle. Fantastic lion tale!
ReplyDeleteLOVED every moment, and especially the poetry! :o) Thanks for the trip, Tess. Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if there's an invisible imp hanging onto his tail, poor old lion! Fab walk!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to walk. It is definitely important to look down while strolling! I have never seen a lion statue with the tail sticking straight out. This is actually a little bit funny!
ReplyDeleteIs that crazy tail new? I don't remember seeing it last year (although we were on that bridge!) You're so lucky to live in an area of such fabulous beauty!
ReplyDeleteOoh, more of these, please!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous countryside. I know they can be controversial, but I'm fascinated by wind turbines.

Thanks for sharing and I like the words of the graffiti on the underpass.
Oh the poor lion, funny tail!
Happy weekend
