the sun comes out and for a few hours we have blue skies
we go in search of blossom
but it is almost impossible to photograph
the wind catches the petals and blows them about
in the end I have to to hold the blooms still.
and it reminds me that we need to remember to be still,
to stop and pay attention to the world around us,
because so often it is rushing past,
like the wind.
I think you have managed to capture the blossom beautifully - at this time of year it is great to be able to wander in the beauty that nature provides.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post T. I'm going to take your advice today. J x
ReplyDeleteBoy, isn't that the truth! My world is speeding by at breakneck speed. Thanks for the gentle reminder!

ReplyDeleteLovely sentiment, and these are gorgeous pictures :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful - and I laughed out loud having had exactly the same issue trying to photograph flowers, in the breeze, whilst walking the dog! I gave up in the end, but I agree, it was lovely to stop and notice the colours, even if they wouldn't pose for me!
ReplyDeleteBlossom, the prettiest bloom of all. Such a shame they don't last longer. Beautiful words, we all need to take time to be still and just be. xx
