well there wasn't much snow, and not much of a hill but good fun was had by all, this used to be my sledge when I was little!
and this is the lid of the sand pit, no it's not that steep, just a crazy camera angle!
and this is the responsible adult showing the children how to play safely!
Lucky you - at least you had some. As usual the snow has passed Cheltenham by. Looks like you managed to make the most of it. Someone gave us a sledge 3 years ago and we haven't used it yet!

Oh WOW, I have two jelous children...they have been longing for snow.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun! You could say the adult was just showing them how NOT to do it! :O) Gx
ReplyDeleteYay! You got some!
ReplyDeleteI'll do a swap with you - some of our sunshine for some of your snow! Seeing snow during the festive season looks very beautiful.

ReplyDeleteOh you were so luck to get some snow, we go 2 flakes if that. Much to my daughters disappointment.
ReplyDeletewe had some snow up in Grass Valley (sierra foothills) but not enough to sled in...lucky you!!
ReplyDeleteOh fantastic, you got the white stuff! Not a flake here in the Moorlands, booooo! Wishing you a very, very happy new year and hoping you get many more chances to enjoy the sledging!

Yep- no snow in Cheltenham- is rubbish, pah! Make sure you hang on to those pics to show the granchildren, I am sure snow is being phased out! The sledges are fantastic.
