kitchen poetry 7

blackberry and banana smoothie - Sunday morning breakfast, utterly delicious, except if you are a child, when it's not at all nice, even when mummy re-names it purple brain juice........
oh, well more for me!

the delay in finishing kitchen poetry week was caused by the camera battery, which is no problem at all, as it's rechargeable --- as long as you can find the charger........

  1. That looks yummy, our kids aren't big home made smoothie fans either, but if it comes in a plastic container then it's OK? Feeling much better today and about to prize myself away from the computer before the morning has gone :)

  3. That looks so yummy! Though I think I'll stick with calling it a smoothie. Brain juice freaks me out a bit--reminds me too much of biology lessons :) K x

  4. Haha -- nice try on the re-naming! (Looks mighty tasty to me...) The best thing I ever did was to treat myself to a second camera battery for instant gratification when the first one croaked. Of course, you have to be able to find that, too...

  5. I've really missed out not keeping up with the kitchen poetry week! I've really enjoyed catching up on your blog. Friday night was my favourite athough I hope it didn't all seep straight out of the holes you made in yourself kneeling on your pin cushion...Ouch!!

  6. Looks yummy but I think the name would have the reverse effect on me!

  7. Jimmy hated smoothies till he was about 11 ... now he can't get enough of them, but he still isn't that keen on the bananna type. x

  11. I have a soup recipe book which claims that children will eat spinach soup if you call it 'green soup'.

    Ha. Fat chance.
