I have a new obsession.
a very good friend of mine has called me a sock maniac, and I am not offended, no indeed, I am enchanted by the title.
meet sock one. Oh how happy I am.
sock two will be ready for a photo shoot very soon!
coming up next - meet socks three and four!
Oh how fab! And such gorgeous spring-y colors. 'Learn to knit socks' is still on my to-do list. Feeling inspired now to move it to the top! K x
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely colours. I need to cast onso,me more, but I haven't got any sock wool - must rectify that asap!
ReplyDeleteNow what sort of person would call someone a name like that? (snicker, giggle)
ReplyDeleteSpectacular sock work, T-bird! xoxoxo
Lovely socks! I think socks are the ideal project - nice and portable, plus more importantly the end is in sight even as you cast on!
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting!! I am making socks right now out of that second yarn you show. You have extremely good taste :o)
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn. I need to knit another pair I think.
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed and I love the yarn. The sock looks soooo neat. I have made two pairs and have started a third but ...... can't say I am addicted and still get in a muddle. What pattern are you using? Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely socks! I really do have to learn how to make socks!

Socks three and four?? Are you knitting for your cats?
ReplyDeleteI am pleased there will be a sock 2. Because one sock alone is a bit of a problem.
ReplyDeleteLove love love your sock, in fact I have sock envy. Hope all is well.

Sock knitting is the best!!!
ReplyDeleteSock obsessed sounds great to me! Love the colours in your socks, those variegated yarns are really exciting aren't they. Love Vanessa xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely colours..very springlike!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be a good enough knitter to attempt socks!!
(wellies went back on today...painted toenails were for nothing!!!)
way to go you :-). Think I'll stick to my 2 needle ones for now lol
ReplyDeleteI disagree with the Coffee Lady - one sock as beautiful as that would make a very lovely tiny pouch handbag, or a stylish puppet. The wool is absolutely lovely
ReplyDeleteYou knit socks?
ReplyDeleteI am practically speechless (commentless?!).
And such gorgeous colours - I hope you're not going to hide them in your wellies.
When I was in nursing school I used to make tons of socks...I loved making and wearing them...and forgot. I could try to make some again you made me think about it ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely- I must try socks! I made the mistake of teaching myself to knit by making an earth stripe wrap out of Rowan kidsilk haze- it is taking forever!! I'm not giving up until it's finished though... the wool cost a small fortune! Socks for my next project though!
