whilst the rest of the family hunted fossils, I hunted anemones.
we walked the beach route to Port Mulgrave
and marvelled at the blue skies
and climbed the cliff path and marvelled that we were right down there
and whilst this is what some people wanted to do on the beach
this was much more my style.....
Beautiful photos, such a gorgeous beach.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so relaxing. I can almost smell that fresh salty air.

ReplyDeleteLovely beachy pictures - I love looking for anemones, shells, pretty pebbles...and knitting (or this year for the first time crocheting) on the beach are my favourite things!

Love the beach pictures, lush and I really hope that is the sleeve of a jumper because it promises to be so cool. Can't wait to find out.

ReplyDeleteI am truly hoping that is a sock. It is a total work of art. I have the wanties, seriously badly. Oh and the beach looks quite good too. Welcome home Missus. Ax
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so beautiful. With water that colour, I think I would be knitting rather than swimming too. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.

ReplyDeleteHello Tess:
ReplyDeleteWe have discovered your blog via the delightful Helen Tilston and how wonderful to have happened upon these glorious scenes from your holiday. This part of North Yorkshire is new to us but looks to have been gloriously free of crowds and the most dramatically beautiful coastline.
We have signed up as Followers in order to stay in touch.
