reasons to love blogging no. 1
half way through cooking dinner whilst chaos abounds in the kitchen with children doing homework, and pleading starvation, it is perfectly normal to have to stop everything, go and find the camera and take a photograph.
why?
because the oh so green beans on the pink chopping board made me smile admidst the madness, and I thought they might make you smile too.
tell me some more reasons to love blogging, and have a lovely weekend x
Hulloo. I am so glad you love blogging. I am having a bit of a bah humbug affair with it all at the moment.
ReplyDeleteMy reason to love it though, is because of the friends I've made and who still email me even though they know I am bonkers... Happy Weekend Missus, Ax
reasons for blogging -- sheer madness lol
ReplyDeleteIt did make me smile.
ReplyDeleteI like the way it makes me take more notice of these small but often lovely things. And enables me to meet other people who can see the lovely in chopped beans on a pink board - yeah!! :)
Oh yes. Who'd remember those little moments otherwise?
ReplyDeleteImportant to get your priorities right!
ReplyDeleteJust think of blogging as collating social history for the future historians - hence the need for photos of green beans and scrummy meals.
ReplyDeleteI love blogging - I love the fact that people even read my ramblings even more :)
Have a good weekend :)
I stopped photographing food, and now my husband wants to known when he can see pictures of the children's lunchboxes. Very odd indeed!
ReplyDeleteHello:
ReplyDeleteThe green beans on the Barbie pink chopping board do look pretty. Indeed, we wish we could draw up chairs at the dining table since runner beans are never to be found in Hungary and we miss them greatly.
Reasons to love blogging....well, you might never know of the National Hungarian shortages if we were not in touch via the Blogosphere!!!
I love your photo!! Blogging makes you look at every little thing differently, is this a potential blog photo. :)
ReplyDeleteBest thing about blogging for me is the friends I've made and I love seeing what other people have been doing.
Have a great weekend,
Anne xx
Lovely picture...pink and green, one of my fave colour combinations! I love blogging for the same reason...not only do we appreciate the visual so much more but we can share it with others who do too!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Helen x
You see, that is just a colour combo that works every time - pink and green. Almost any pink and any green. Love blogging cos people like you make me people like me feel they're not quite as bonkers as they sometimes think they may be? Lol!
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's the new people we bump into! I love it when I am taking photos of food - hubby is so patient - then he says "Can I eat it now?" lol! Nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteMy Reason #1 to love blogging: Tess!
ReplyDeletexoxoxo
I keep coming across my camera with 50 unused pictures of noodles on it.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a VERY good reason... especially this pink & green combo! I love blogging for many, many reasons...a big one is inspiring crafters & writers like you, Tess. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI refused to let my children eat the apple muffins I made yesterday until I had arranged them tastefully on a beautiful plate and cloth and photographed them!
ReplyDeletePomona x
I love blogging but it takes me all week to catch up with everyone!
ReplyDeleteYour green beans and pink chopping board really made me smile too.
Hope you had a great weekend x
Indeed it did make me smile! Too often I find I have left the camera upstairs and the moment in the kitchen has past and hungry mouths take over!!
ReplyDeleteLoving your green beans and pink cutting board. Reason for blogging? Unlimited possibilities for creativity!
ReplyDelete:-) At the moment I love reading blogs, because they remind me that one day soon I'll have time to do things other than looking after two children and managing to get basic household tasks done.
ReplyDeletethanks Janine, I love the way you describe it!
ReplyDeleteLike you said, it is all about preserving the little moments and sharing in others' pleasure in their own moments.
ReplyDeleteYup, blogging makes life's little joys worth stopping for. I quite agree!
ReplyDeleteLove that you stopped to take that picture, Tess!
ReplyDeleteMeeting people from all over is one of the best things. Blogging also makes me more aware of life's happy details, and more appreciative. Reading about other people's perspectives, interests, crafts, food - it's all good!
