great british bake off

my children have a new favourite tv program. and it's not a children's show. and whilst normally I would be worrying about adult content, or language, or educational value, or violence or all the other things there are to think about in a tv show, this time I am mostly concerned about my waistline....

the Great British Bake Off, it is a bad influence in this house.............

  2. That is so interesting and perhaps your children will follow a culinary path. Is there pressure on you to bake more?

  4. I think it is lovely that your children want to bake. Since my son has learned to drive, he just goes off to the supermarket in the car and comes back with stuff from the bakery! Abby x

  7. Who care about the calories, get stuck in girl. Perhaps you could see it as doing your bit for England.

  8. I would be willing to go for an extra run or two (maybe) if baking like that found its way into my kitchen without me having to lift a beater. How lovely that they are having fun doing something useful. Perhaps you could request the Great British Roast Off for the follow up series?

  11. Hmmm. Maybe you should just have the smallest little bit and leave the rest for them? Oh, OK then!

  14. I am also hooked on TGBB. It's so hard to watch without rushing into the kitchen and getting baking. Greta that your little ones are enjoying it!

  17. I'm obsessed with it too! Love the combination of fun and cooking. Harmless (apart from the waistline...) fun. Mine are all in bed by the time it's on, but have benefited from some of the recipes. We should set up something similar for bloggers!

  18. My children love it too! They keep telling me that I should enter, flattering but definitely not possible in a million years.
