decisions.

I'm packing for our annual trip to the Yorkshire Coast. Well technically I'm sitting here drinking coffee and eating fruit loaf toast and typing but mentally I'm packing. There is no rush, it's less than a 3 hour drive, we don't need anything special, I shall fling a random selection of clothes in a bag and the raincoats in the boot of the car and that will do. The children pack their own things, last time I glanced into Miss K's suitcase there was a cat fast asleep in it. He is not coming......... They do it every time they see the mini suitcases, "no don't leave me..............."
Just need to sort out a few essentials and then we can leave, teabags, a book, and a craft project - can't decide between the sock yarn shawl or a basket of granny squares.................. or something new. decisions are so hard when you are in full summer sloth mode.....

  1. Have a fab holiday - craft projects need to be top priority - everything else is less essential ;)

  4. Isn't it great when the kids grow up enough to pack for themselves? I remember specifically when that happened in our household; oh the rejoicing! Enjoy your trip.

  7. Do have a wonderful trip. I am sure that it will be just lovely.
No trips here, except the one coming up...to bed!

  8. Our cats always make a bid for any suitcase. And though in theory, the boys could pack for themselves, their choices are always 'interesting', so we compromise with them laying their stuff on the bed and me having power of veto! Have a lovely time away.

  9. A break while packing is always a good idea... I think I speak more time breaking than preparing when getting ready for a trip--so much of it is mental. A good cuppa & treat help. ;o) En-JOY the days away, Tess ((HUGS))

  14. It's a nice feeling going slow in the holidays. Might as well make the most of the opportunity with back-to-school always looming large sooner than you think! Hope you're having a lovely break.
