how does your garden grow?
remember when we got carried away with our pruning, and ended up with a vegetable patch instead of a flower bed, well now we have baby raddishes
teeny tiny alpine strawberries in flower
fluffy carrots
and baby lettuces in urgent need of thinning out, my assistants were a bit over keen with the amount of seeds.
I think it will be a few more weeks before anything is really big enough to eat, and once or twice I've seen a cat fast asleep on top of the netting, but I'm looking forward to my homegrown salad very much xox

'Wow' they all look de-lish!! Home grown is the best.
ReplyDeleteRather a cat then slugs and snails though as long as they don't do any number 2's!
Have a lovely day,
Nina x
we've got a little window box with radishes and lettuce -- I've already had a nibble and homegrown is so much nicer
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a garden...Too many little critters (including kids) and no sunny spots!
ReplyDeleteYum, I love radishes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful garden, home grown tastes so much better than what you get at the grocery store.

There's nothing quite like home grown produce, we're growing lettuces, strawberries and tomatoes. We've been able to eat the lettuces, and they're delicious!
ReplyDeleteLove Vanessa xxx (do you mind if i knit)
Home grown vegies - delicious!Unfortunately we live in a very windy spot so all the hardiest of plants survive.
ReplyDeleteDelicious things growing...makes one's mouth water with anticipation! :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

well done you! This looks really impressive. I can only believe that there are no snails or slugs where you live!!! Everything seems to be blooming so well!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you must have a garden in your new house, pity you can't get Kirstie and Phil to help you choose!!
Hope you have a good weekend and that the right house just pops up for you.
love Sheila
We had the same problem with overenthusiastic sowing of the lettuces! And our cat just strides across the netting regularly. I think I need to raise it up somehow. Hope you're all enjoying the garden. Did you get the free BBC Dig-in seeds?
ReplyDeletecats?that's nothing my Jojo parks his car on top of my yellow beetroot- but he's only 2 so I'll forgive him!
