one of my friends has just had her first baby. a perfect excuse for a bit of knitting! but I knew I'd never finish anything as big as a blanket or as complicated as a cardigan, so hats were perfect. I started with a tomato but as the baby was born in October I thought he might need a halloween outfit,
so then there was a pumpkin,
and because these little hats are impossibly addictive I've already made him a Christmas pudding.
meanwhile both my children are quite relieved I couldn't knit when they were little......................
Oh, so sweet - and I know a little baby who will definitely need a Christmas pudding hat :-)
ReplyDeleteThat Christmas pudding hat is the Ultimate. And this post reminds me (sob!) of the adorable strawberry hat that Big Lad had as a baby. Of course, he had such a ginormous head that it fit him for about ten minutes... xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love these hats!! And like Sue I'd wear the Christmas pudding hat too ...but my children would disown me if I did!
ReplyDeleteutterly peachy! xx

ReplyDeleteThey are all so adorable! Sweetness personified.
ReplyDeleteI inherited a darling hat from my family when my first was born. It had little kitty ears on it and I loved it so...I have no idea what happened to it, which is a small tragedy.
