Remembrance Sunday


"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
we will remember them."

    When I was a young woman, American Legion volunteers passed out paper poppies for Veterans/Armistice Day. Doesn't happen now. But banks, post offices and government offices close. I think I'm confused.
