I thought it would be fun to do a spring notebook post, inspired by (stolen from?) Lynn.
drinking; tea, it's been honey and lemon all week, but I'm feeling more human today.
eating; rhubarb and orange cake - we had guests who brought rhubarb, I love guests like that.
grateful for; the children finally breaking up- it's been tough reading all your holiday posts when we weren't.
really grateful for; hot water - the boiler is mended, hurray.
making; a crochet shawl, inspired by this lovely one by Andemento, pattern here
smelling; baby versions of my lavender cushion which I filled with lavender from here.
planning; gardening time, there's one more raised bed to finish and lots of other garden fun to do.
wishing; you all a very happy weekend xxx
Happy weekend to you too. I have the world's biggest ironing mountain to tackle first ...

ReplyDeleteWe're all drowning in honey and lemon here, but the lurgy which has lasted best part of a month is now going. Glad you're feeling better. Lavendar bag TDF (as my teenagers say) - 'to die for'!
