I've been shutting myself away in my study for the last few weeks, as I've rather foolishly booked a table at the Alnmouth Arts Festival. engage panic mode...... it all looks terribly professional.....
I've been making some stitchy pictures
which will be alongside the lavender bags and some cushions
and to show off the stuff for the arts festival I've made it a new blog Northumbrian Textile Art - which one day might even have links to etsy and folksy.
thanks for all lovely comments on the last post, and now for the giveaway winner, drum roll please, and the winner is Laura of Nimble Fingers and Steady Eyebrows, a blog which has a lovely format of letters sent between friends.
Humph.
ReplyDeleteOnly kidding. Well done Laura though I may have to visit the fair for a bit of my own driftwood stitchy gorgeousness...
Wondered where you'd disappeared to- good to have you back, Ax
Just been looking through your stitchery again. Thought each one my fave til I saw the next. Think though, that birdy-heart-leaf-tree my best. Ax
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Laura!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been busy, I will try and visit the fair so I can see/buy your lovely work. Abby x
It does look terribly professional but your work is terribly professional you know! I wish I could and visit, it must be so exciting for you! Good luck x

ReplyDeleteI hope you do well - I love your sewing. What you don't sell at the fair, you should sell on your blog. Your story of the baitbox made me laugh!!! I thought about my dads fishing box of maggots!!!

ReplyDeleteHave fun at the fair! xoxo
