Oh July, yes indeed, ice creams, and the smell of cut grass, and then end of term and the start of the holidays.
I shall celebrate you with "drink champagne just because day" perhaps accompanied by "an elaborate cheeseboard day" and if I over indulge then I shall partake in "be at one day"
what are your plans for July? I hope they are fun x
Champagne and cheese, Oo yes! Preferably in a sunny meadow on the banks of a clear stream in dappled shade...
ReplyDeleteNot too many plans for July. A family BBQ at the weekend and then we'll see what the weather's like. Definitely ice-cream no matter what the weather does.
ReplyDeleteice cream. yes. definitely x
DeleteStrangely, I'm not a great Champagne fan (I prefer an ordinary glass of wine) but I can definitely do the cheese! Have a great July. xx
ReplyDeleteI'll drink your champagne for you x
DeleteEvening walks on the beach :)
ReplyDeleteyes, that sounds perfect x
DeleteToday is the last day of school for us! Our plans include regular picnics, cartwheels and football on the village green, the occasional beach day...and maybe one last meet-up with our dear friend Tess before she flies away for her big adventure. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWell, according to your calendar, I need to be genuinely sick LOL! I love that -- it's definitely too beautiful to be stuck at work -- hurry up vacation! Ice cream and champagne -- LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! definitely true about the white clothes. I gave up buying them years ago! First day of the summer hols over here. Eldest has still got an external exam coming up, youngest is volunteering at the local special needs school summer camp. A trip up north is planned for next month. All good!
ReplyDeleteCheese, champagne, ice cream and a roll in the hay? Haha. Sounds good to me. :)
ReplyDeleteOh. I have just realised that I have missed your brthday. Bother. And Happy Belateds.
ReplyDeleteAx
July has certainly come in with a 'ta dah!' thank goodness, I was thinking that summer was going to be a bit dismal this year, roll on the holidays!
ReplyDeleteyes, it's sunny! x only 2 more weeks of school to go! x
DeleteI am going to eat cherries and lie in the garden. I have made a promising start today.
ReplyDeleteYep, ice-cream done, and that's quite unusual for me. I really like the idea of elaborate cheeseboard day. Your calendar is excellent. Mine says things like "Wash all the skirting boards". I really must choose more wisely next year. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteLove being in the garden......love strawberries and raspberries, meringues and ice cream.....and drinking Pimms on my birthday! Happy July, Tess.
ReplyDeleteHelen xox
Lolly stick jokes ! I'd forgotten about those! Why don't they do them any more ?
ReplyDeleteHappy July!
Jillxo
they were always really bad jokes! x
DeleteJuly sounds just as good as June. And I am very much looking forward to the end of school, and days free for beach and river and garden.
ReplyDeleteI had a Table Sale with cold Peronis all round at the end of the long hot 1st of July day. Cherries from a brown paper bag are on the list.
ReplyDeletecherries. summer in a paper bag x
DeleteIf you get all these great things done, July will be a wonderful month!! I hope that it is great for you! xx
ReplyDeleteI'll be working hard to produce a huge amount of drawings and paintings to honour an agreement. Much as I love doing them, deadlines are never fun.
ReplyDeleteI do love your calendar. We'll fit nice things in, like eating lots of strawberries and walking and paddling in the stream.
Have a wonderful July.

I will definitely be freckles and ice cream as we will be on holiday on the south coast. There may be champagne, or more likely prosecco and even Pimms. If it carries on with this level of heat there definitely will not be cheese, can't do cheese when its hot!
ReplyDeleteoh yes to elaborate cheeseboards! and be at one day sounds like a wonderful reason to relax!
ReplyDeleteOh yes to cheese, and yes to champagne!
ReplyDeleteReckon we could have a champagne & cheese party! X
ReplyDeleteyes, that would be an excellent party x
DeleteTrying to catch up here! I love your calendar.
ReplyDeleteJuly here has brought a lot of heat, but also blueberries, strawberries and yummy plums. I'll take the cheese board as well.
