Great photos and yes, how wonderful to just stop and look and listen for a while and enjoy the moment. Bet you're busy this week with the school routine but hope you manage to find some moments too.
What a difference a week makes, today is so cold and miserable I can barely remember summer now. I love your photos, can almost smell that buddleia in fact, but I think any self respecting butterfly will be long gone now. And thanks for your comment on my recent post, things are finally looking up. Phew. xox
I know what you mean, these little guys have captivated us too. We run outside, watch them, then run back inside trying to remember the details of their beauty, doing a search online to find out their names. Doodling their colors. I think a butterfly field guide is a must for the future.
Isn't that the best? :)
ReplyDeleteOh for such moments.
ReplyDeleteIhave not seen as many this year, which is a bit worrying. Love the photos of the butterflies.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! How wonderful to get so close to the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteOh, blissful. Did it help to take your mind off the washing machine situation?
ReplyDeleteI've spent many a minute mesmerised by the fluttering around the garden. Gorgeous photos.

ReplyDeleteMe too. I'm always getting distracted by the mini-beasts in the garden and then finding tepid drinks. Absolutely gorgeous photos.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fab way to spend a tea break.

ReplyDeleteIts so apt that something so lovely has a special name "Flutterbye" and its favourite place, the Buddleia, is known as the "butterfly bush".
