June

June. summer apparently but not in Northumberland....
but that's ok, there's been more knitting.

and more photo shoots for work. this time we found a driftwood boat.
I want one!

later we found a snake.
I think I can live without one of these!

I'm not allowed to post photos of the eldest teenagers leavers dinner, or youngest teenagers prom, so here's a selfie I took to show off my new jumper.

apparently you're supposed to be able to see your face in selfies....

bah humbug.

  1. I have the same problem, teenagers who don't want graduation photos or any other sort of photo for that matter and no way can one be seen on a blog or anything like that. I must try covering my face in selfies, it will be a great improvement methinks! Let's start a new trend.

    1. yes! the faceless selfie movement!

I'm thinking I might resort to the old fashioned way, and print some photos of the teenagers and put them around the house, then maybe there wouldn't be such a fuss about the odd facebook photo.... x

  3. Love the jumper, the shawl and your sock pattern too - I'm always in awe of people that can design knitwear. Hope the exams went OK. xx

  4. The shawl is so beautiful, I just want to wrap it around my shoulders. Teenagers are really awkward creatures. It can only get better, fingers crossed. x

  5. Gorgeous colours in that beautiful shawl. Teenagers are funny creatures... I find it curious how they're happy to take selfies and post them everywhere but run from the camera. Hope you have a great summer.
