knit and stitch part 2

I had a great trip to the knitting and stitching, there is So Much to see, from graduate students, to charity community projects, paper, kniting, sculptures, quilts (not enough for my liking...........) and stalls galore.
Ali summed it up perfectly. the choice is so overwhelming I came away with next to nothing...........

my ravelry favourites list has grown extensively though, and I have a head full of projects I am itching to start!

  1. That colours in that ball of wool are gorgeous. I love it when my head is swirling with creative ideas. It sounds like you are going to have some fun during your colder and darker months ahead. I think we need lots of cheery projects to help us in winter. That being said, I still like to have lots of cheery projects every season in the year. :)

  2. Glad you had a good time. I didn't spend too much either. I went in the company of a cross stitcher and a beginning quilter who weren't too interested in the knitting and embroidery stalls. Probably a good thing, it would have been easy to empty the bank account if I'd been on my own!

  4. Glorious wool colours. I am hopeless at fairs like that - I end up exhausted and frustrated and convinced I have missed the one perfect item that would have made the trip wonderful. Sigh.

  6. YUMMY COLORS, Tess! That wool is gorgeous! So glad you had a great time. It is funny how places and events like that offer so much it's almost impossible to decide on what to go away with. But usually there is that one thing that call's to one's heart and just gotta have. ;o) tee-hee... What's your name at Ravelry, is it Driftwood there too? Happy Days with your new play things.
